Eco Drama are excited to embark on a new tour of The Worm – An Underground Adventure as part of the Puppet Animation Festival, marking the production’s sixth year of touring and third year as part of the Festival.
Puppet Animation Festival is the UK’s largest performing arts event for children and exists to bring quality theatre and animation to all audiences around Scotland.
This tour across Scotland sees the show visit venues in Kirkcaldy, Ayr, Irvine, the North East, Glasgow and Aberdeen as well as the Edinburgh International Science Festival. The Worm will also perform in England for the first time, at Kirkgate Arts in Cumbria.
We are delighted to be part of Puppet Animation Scotland’s 35th festival, and Edinburgh International Science Festival’s 30th year.
Since 2013, The Worm has reached more than 10,000 audience members across almost 300 performances at schools, nurseries, festivals, community venues and theatres across Scotland. We continue to tour Scotland in the most environmentally way possible, using our eco van run on recycled waste cooking oil, reducing carbon emissions by 85%.
Join Wilma and William on a journey underground as they discover a family of friendly, musical worms and their colourful miniature world! See below for tour dates and booking info.
***** Broadway Baby on ‘The Worm’
“…manages to keep its audience of tinies enthralled simply through some excellent storytelling…a sweet little piece which will give younger children a gentle introduction to ecology but, more importantly, keep them engaged and amused for the whole 60 minutes.”
