Early Years Resource Pack Launches

We are delighted to launch the Early Years Out to Play Resource Pack and hard copies are now available for practitioners across Scotland, the UK and wider world – we have already sold copies as far away as Canada! Please email nina@ecodrama.co.uk to place an order.

The pack has stories, songs, drama games & outdoor session plans encouraging confidence, communication, creativity & nature connection for early years children. For any practitioner developing their imaginative toolkit for learning outdoors & facilitating nature connection.

See our mini documentary below which tells the story of the early years resource pack, filmed by Mike Rea at collaborating nursery Westercraigs.

We will be hosting 2 CPD webinars for Early Years practitioners during the Feb & May in-services, with each attendee receiving a copy. More information and details on how to register.

With thanks to our Out to Play partner nursery at Westercraigs Nursery who hosted the documentary filming day, and special thanks to Head Teacher Lesley Morrison, Lead Practitioner for Attainment Ann Langridge & Team Leader Audrey O’Hagan.

We’d also like to thank Mike Rea for fantastic camera and editing skills, and HUGE thanks to Out to Play drama artist Sarah Rankin, for not only being wonderful on film, but creating & delivering fantastic Out to Play residencies in nurseries across Glasgow and writing the Early Years resource pack!

Finally, we’d like to give thanks to the nurseries who took part in Out to Play residencies & the children who helped us explore the place of the arts & creativity in early years outdoor learning & play.
