Eco Drama launched its tour of Scottish primary schools with a special performance of ‘The Isle of Egg’ on the island it was inspired by – Eigg. The show was performed for the very first time at their ‘Giant’s Footstep Family Festival‘ on May 3rd, the islands eco festival as part of the Big Green Challenge. The show was very well received and had a great audience turn out, including MSP Rob Gibson: –
“. . . the play had the kids in the audience shouting for more and the adults in gales of laughter . . . it should be taken on a national tour of primary schools”

“The Isle of Egg was the most fun adults and children alike have had during our Big Green Challenge year on Eigg so far. Learning about climate change and what we can all achieve together to make our world a better place without fossil fuels – learn while you laugh – sums it up.”
