Isabelle Joss

Drama Artist, Out to Play

Izzi (she/her) graduated from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a BA in Acting. She has over 25 years of experience working as an actor/creative artist with a variety of theatre companies performing on stages worldwide.

Izzi advocates and is passionate about the powerful, playful, creative connections and liberation that Mother Nature can provide. Being neurodivergent, Izzi believes that nature provides a unique space for her to explore her creative and innate ways of being. She also believes in the child’s innate capacity and inner drive to play and learn from their environment.

Izzi recently qualified as a Play Therapist (MSc) and is passionate about children’s holistic and creative health and wellbeing. She is a person-centred practitioner who places the child/person at the centre of her work as both a child-centred play therapist and as a person-centred drama artist facilitator and acting lecturer at the RCS Acting Juniors DPF department.
