Out to Play Resource Packs

Eco Drama has created 4 resource packs for educators which develop imaginative approaches to outdoor learning, specifically drawing on the tools of drama, storytelling and creative play. These resource packs are an invaluable tool for anyone working with children and young people including primary school teachers, early years practitioners and facilitators in nature clubs, camps, after school clubs, drama groups, youth groups and other creative outdoor learning settings.

Testimonials

“Many thanks for sending me a copy of the ‘Out to Play’ resource pack. I have really enjoyed reading it. The introduction re how to use the pack is very clear – especially the 5 tips for outdoor learning/storytelling. The session plans are well laid out with some great ideas/games and drama suggestions. The stories are a great balance of familiar and new – I especially liked “The Chestnut Tree at the Edge of the World” and plan to use it with some of my P4 classes soon.”

Cheryl Aird, Arts Development Officer, Midlothian Council Education

“Can I also let you know that we have had some extra CPD using your Out to Play pack! Staff who took part in the original training have been sharing their good practice and the resource with one another, which is great for our Outdoor Learning development!”

Nicola Rooney, Corpus Christi Primary

“Teachers who have used this resource have found it well planned out, easy to follow and have found the activities to be very motivating for the children.”

Andrea Gurd, Aultmore Park Primary
