We have lots in store including our Out to Play project, Harvest Stories sessions and The Whirlybird theatre show. The Whirlybird

We’re delighted to be retouring The Whirlybird – our playful and uplifting theatre show for children aged 3-7. Featuring movement, music and puppetry, The Whirlybird is about learning to fly and finding joy and inspiration in nature. Out to Play CPD

Our outdoor, practical Out to Play CPD session for primary schools in the Greater Glasgow area explores Eco Drama’s award-winning Out to Play approach with a 2-hour whole school session offering up to 25 teachers and support for learning workers practical ideas and creative learning techniques to embed drama, storytelling and creativity within outdoor learning. Booking now for September-November 2023.

Out to Play School Residencies

Eco Drama’s 5-week Out to Play residencies bring Learning for Sustainability to life through imaginative play and adventurous learning. Residencies in winter/spring 2024 are available to book now for primary schools in the Greater Glasgow area.

Out to Play for Early Years Settings

Our Out to Play CPD opportunities for Early Years – including CPD webinars, in-person Out to Play In a Day and Mini-Residencies – develop staff knowledge, confidence and skills, empowering early years practitioners to deliver arts-based outdoor learning and play in their settings for many years to come.

Harvest Stories

Our interactive ‘Harvest Stories’ sessions for children aged 3-11 can be booked by schools, community groups and family audiences. Through storytelling, songs, drama games (and apples!), participants explore Scotland’s rich orchard heritage, the benefits of locally grown food and how sharing can improve health and well-being for everyone.
