Eco Drama are looking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Producer to join our dynamic and driven team. The position has been filled by the current post-holder since June 2016, and during the last 5 years the impact of having a full-time Producer working in our small organisation has been significant. The role is wide-ranging with main duties including Financial Management, Development and Fundraising, Project and Company Management, Marketing and Evaluation and offers the opportunity for an ambitious and self-motivated individual to make a significant impact, enabling the Company to develop and present ambitious projects both locally and nationally.
Across 2021-23, supported in part by the Glasgow Communities Fund, the company will develop and deliver a diverse programme of theatre productions, creative learning projects, continued professional development and arts-based community food growing projects that engage and inspire people of all ages about the natural world and our place within it. As well as engaging in theatre and arts activities, the work will support and encourage communities to take positive, practical action to develop and improve local green spaces, inspire positive thinking about tackling the climate crisis, and enhance everyday experiences with nature.
This is a full time position and the salary is £28,000 – £31,000 dependent on experience. The role will be offered as a fixed term contract until March 2023, with potential for extension beyond this.
